British Cattle Breeding Conference 2027

The UK's leading meeting of minds in cattle breeding. Three days of science, discussion and debate.

About the conference

Three days of science, discussion and debate

The British Cattle Conference is the UK's leading meeting of minds in cattle breeding. Every January, farmers, breeders, vets, students and scientists gather in Telford to hear the latest research presented in plain language and to argue about what it means in practice.

The 2027 conference runs from 25 to 27 January and builds on the success of Joining the Dots: From Blue Skies to Green Fields, asking how the next generation of breeding research can reach the farmgate faster. Expect an interactive breeding workshop, a dedicated Beef Day and Dairy Day, the Sir John Hammond Award lecture, and plenty of time to meet fellow breeders over dinner.

The programme and delegate details are published on this page as they are confirmed, so there is nothing to download unless you prefer paper.

Monday: Workshops

Tuesday: Beef Day

Wednesday: Dairy Day
