Two Somerset Farm Walks

This year’s two host farms are both in the Shepton Mallet area, starting at the Targetts’ Park Farm and moving on to the Emerys’ at Badgers Cross Farm. The idea of the day is to demonstrate the scope for greater integration of dairy and beef supply chains. This is a very topical issue and these two farms will ably show the great advantage of short supply chains, lifetime assurance and full traceability.

The visits will take place on Tuesday 3rd September and everyone is welcome however members and their guests will be given priority as numbers are limited.

Both farm tours are likely to be on foot and mainly around the yards and fields immediately adjoining the farm buildings.
